WHAT LASTS IS WORTH DEFENDING.

A Guarantee on Principle

Lifetime guarantee means guaranteeing for as long as Polimair exists. As long as we are here, we will retrieve, replace, and recycle any broken part that prevents the normal use of your chair or stool.

We are a young brand, and we are not infallible. A manufacturing defect can happen—a part that's too fragile, an imperfect injection. This is precisely where we take our responsibilities: without discussion, without Kafkaesque forms, without "you-misused-the-product." A part that breaks under normal conditions, we replace it.

This is not an economic choice—it's a choice of principle, a direct extension of what we stand for: making plastic an exceptional material, and for our customers to treat it as such. It's too easy to design for durability and not commit to what comes next. We make the opposite choice: the commitment begins after the sale.

How It Works

A broken part that prevents you from sitting normally? Write to us with a photo. We'll respond as soon as possible and send you the replacement part with a return label — just put the broken part in the same packaging and send it back to us. At no cost to you.

We only replace the affected part, not the entire product — that's precisely what the modular design allows. The returned part is recycled through our channels. The idea is to empower everyone in the end-of-life management of materials: plastic should not end up in the bin, neither at your place nor at ours.

In the event of a temporary stockout, we can offer you a part in a similar color pending a restock, asking for its return upon receipt — taking care to protect it well to avoid scratches.

Why It's Possible

This guarantee exists only because we made radical choices from the design stage: a single material, a flat-pack structure, a plastic that can be regenerated. Replacing an isolated part is impossible with most furniture on the market — glue, steel screws, multi-materials — where the slightest replacement means throwing away the entire piece.

Here, each part lives independently. And because everything is PP, the broken part you return to us becomes raw material again. What many present as a constraint — the single-material approach — is actually what makes all of this coherent.

Our eight main colors are produced continuously. For limited editions, we build up a buffer stock of replacement parts to honor the warranty over time.

Living Indoors

The warranty covers all normal indoor use—accidents, falls, children, everyday life. However, we do not cover outdoor use: UV rays, temperature and humidity variations deeply affect the plastic and make it unsuitable for recycling. Our chairs live indoors, like other quality materials—wood, leather—that do not tolerate rain and sun well.

This is not a limitation of strength. It is a limitation of consistency: a material that can no longer be recycled loses most of what makes it valuable in our eyes.

An Object That Outlives You

We no longer make objects that outlast us. Yet, we know for certain that plastic will outlast us – so it might as well be in the form of a beautiful piece of furniture, passed down and maintained, rather than buried in a landfill.

The lifetime warranty is also an invitation to change our relationship with objects: buy less, buy better, maintain rather than replace. A Polimair piece of furniture is not a disposable purchase – it is an object meant to last, to change hands, to continue existing long after you.
