A MANIFESTO FOR A DIFFERENT KIND OF DESIGN.
Two and a half years of research and development, dozens of prototypes, hundreds of hours of testing and adjustments: the Beluga chair was not born by chance. Every line has been thought out, every curve optimized to create a 100% single-material recycled kit chair, with no compromise between aesthetics, solidity, and environmental impact.
A structured design, conceived for ergonomics and durability, optimized manufacturing to limit waste, and a unique technical approach: a completely reversible plastic-to-plastic assembly. The result? A truly recyclable chair, without burdening the sorting chain.
Even before its launch, it was featured in the Centre Pompidou store and gained recognition at Milan and Paris Design Weeks. These are places and events where design doesn't cut corners. Demanding partners like the Grand Palais and Voltex have already put their trust in it.
AESTHETICS OF COMFORT
Comfort and posture are not mere stylistic effects. The Beluga chair is the result of extensive work on ergonomics and support, inspired by the spirit of the great dining chairs of the 1950s and 60s, where form primarily served function and the body.
Every design element stems from this research. The backrest supports the back without constraint, the armrests naturally accompany the arms, and the seat encourages an upright and sustained posture. The comfort is precise, never overly soft, designed to be felt over time rather than immediately exaggerated.
Designed for long meals and daily use, the Beluga chair offers precise and controlled comfort, true to a certain idea of functional and timeless design.

Taking care of your furniture:
Polimair furniture is designed exclusively for indoor use.
Plastic is a material that ages very poorly outdoors. When exposed for prolonged periods, it inevitably deteriorates and generates microplastics, either through disintegration due to temperature variations, humidity, and UV exposure.
However, our plastic is UV-treated throughout its mass to extend its lifespan and prevent any risk of discoloration over time.
For routine maintenance, we recommend simple and gentle cleaning:
1 - use a soft cloth
2 - apply a light degreasing product (diluted white vinegar or glass cleaner).
Conversely, avoid corrosive, bleach-based, or solvent-based products, which could alter the material's surface.
Proper maintenance helps to preserve the appearance, use, and quality of your Polimair furniture over time.
How our lifetime warranty works
Polimair offers a functional lifetime warranty on all its products.
This warranty covers any breakage or defect that would prevent the normal use of the product. In other words, if a part breaks, comes undone, or compromises the function of the furniture, it is covered.
To claim your warranty right, simply contact us by email at contact@polimair.fr. We will then provide you with instructions on how to proceed.
The warranty is activated once the defective part is returned to us, so that we can recycle it ourselves and ensure that no plastic from our products re-enters nature.
In return for the defective part, Polimair fully covers the cost of the replacement part as well as its shipping.
